Copyright
Copyright for articles published in the JPS publications is transferred to the Physical Society of Japan (JPS), when the article is accepted for publication.
Those who present articles on the publications of JPS are requested to submit copyright transfer agreement. JPS shall have the right to publish the article in whole or in part(s), in any medium and by any means, including those not yet known and later developed.If the article is unpublished for any reason, this Agreement shall be void.
Due to the copyright law in Japan, the statute of limitations of the copyrights reserved by associations is 50 years after publishing. Therefore, the copyrights of such articles are not managed by the JPS.

(1) Copyrights regarding articles presented in Progress of Theoretical Physics（PTP） will be managed by the JPS from 2013.
(2) Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics（PTEP） is an open access journal, and copyrights of the articles presented in PTEP is managed by the authors based on the concept of Creative Commons Liscence. The JPS keeps up the copyright of the whole body of each issue of PTEP published every month.
