Privacy Policy

1. Acquisition of Personal Data
The Physical Society of Japan (hereinafter referred to as the "JPS") shall state the purposes of using personal data and collect the data on a voluntary basis. Collected personal data shall be used for carrying out the business purposes defined in the articles of the JPS.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Data
The JPS shall use the personal data solely within the condition of the stated purposes. Moreover, the JPS shall not disclose any personal data to any third party. However, the JPS shall exclude the cases of outsourcing the business to contractors to accomplish the stated purposes, of carrying out obligations stated in related laws and regulations, and of ensuring the protection of the life, body, and property of individuals.

3. Management of Personal Data
All of the personal data shall be properly maintained and protected from unauthorized computer access, theft, removal from the premises and the resulting loss, damage, falsification, and leakage. The JPS shall take the necessary preventive and corrective actions. In the case of outsourcing part of the business within the condition of the stated purposes of using the personal information, the JPS shall conclude a secrecy agreement with the contractor and supervise the contractor to ensure the proper management of the personal data.
