The purpose and activities of the committee
The committee operates with the aim of contributing to the promotion of physics in the Asia-Pacific region as a member society of AAPPS (Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies). It collaborates in the management of AAPPS and the organization of the Asia-Pacific Physics Conference (APPC), nd is involved in the operation of the AAPPS-JPS Award, a joint recognition by AAPPS and the Physical Society of Japan. Additionally, the committee has established the AAPPS Bulletin Subcommittee to contribute to the publication activities of the AAPPS Bulletin, the official newsletter of AAPPS.
